WHERE DO YOU STAND?

We are living in a most interesting time on the planet.  We have been experiencing many strange and unusual happenings, especially with our earth weather patterns this last year.  And I’m sure many of us have asked what all of this means.  Of course, it means many things at various levels.

From the level of the earth herself, this is about a cleansing process that Mother is embarking upon.  This is for her self-preservation.  Do we as humans have anything to do with this?  Of course we do.  The more obvious effects might be our abuse of her natural resources and what we visit upon her in our use of offensive toxins that create greenhouse warming and other forms of pollution.  But we also register our effects upon her with our thinking, both consciously and unconsciously. 

The process of our thoughts creates a template for creating a result.  If we continue to think along the lines of greed and selfishness, then that thought process creates an attitude of “taking all I can gather for myself personally”.  It does not allow into the equation the fact that it has an effect on everyone else on the planet.  What I hoard to myself takes it out of general circulation and is thus not available for everyone/anyone else.  This then gets multiplied many times over and what results is what we see in terms of the “rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer” scenario.  This is being witnessed all over the world.  Let us then  be able to see that what we each as individuals create in our own life and heart gets played out all over the planet. 

Notice how this scenario gives rise to situations in other areas of our life.  We could look at our dependence on the government or the church to provide us with all of the answers to all of the problems in our lives.  When we do we abrogate our own rights as individuals and our own individual consciousness  to help us create the change that at some level we want to see.  Our United States government was created as a means of bringing order to an originally disparate group of individuals and thoughts with the intention of manifesting an institution that would help create order, but also allow for the rights of the individual.

And for some 200+ years this has worked quite well.  But we are now seeing that the government that we have created has in many ways abused  the rights and powers with which it was imbued, and now  is no longer functioning in the ways originally intended.  Therefore, it is time for change.  If that change does not come from those elected to represent us, then it is indeed time for that change to come from each of us as individuals. 

Can we do this alone?  We can begin this process by bringing together individuals with creative ideas, then encouraging these individuals to use the group process to create great change.  This has been the case in the past, where one or two individuals have gotten the spark of an idea, gathered a group of others around for support, and miraculous things have transpired.

Examples of this can be seen with the creating of the US Declaration of Independence.  With the spark of an idea and a group of inspired and dedicated individuals, a whole new type of government was created on the planet.  We also see this in the story of Jesus, and his coming to the planet to bring a message of hope and inspiration for the rest of humanity.  He gathered around him 12 major supporters to help bring forth and disseminate a new message of hope and support.

As we embark on this process of bringing a new paradigm into the planet, and in essence reinventing ourselves, we may want to look at the past and seriously look at and consider where we have been, and then use this information as a means of launching ourselves into the new process.

We may also want to take a serious look at the role the church has played in our unfoldment.  Institutions of various kinds have always given us focus, and the energies in which we have lived in the past have been able to thrive because of the support given by organized religion or the church.  The church was able to help us focus on our own spirituality, particularly at times in our past when we were so busy as a species just keeping house and home together and food on the table that we didn’t always have time nor inclination to give much thought to these things.  It was indeed left to the priests, nuns, monks, etc. to collectively hold this space for the masses, and to do this in the safety and support of monastery or ashram, without having to be concerned about providing for daily existence. 

Often it was in the confines of these protected environments that great spiritual truths were brought through and developed, sometimes disseminated to the masses, and sometimes indulged in by the individual recipient and kept as a personal  secret.  God has always communicated to humanity, but in the case of the church for centuries, the hierarchy claimed to be the only channel, and in many cases this was true.

But we have come into a new age, and we will continue to experience an acceleration of what has already begun, so it is time for all of humanity to recognize that we are each as individuals a channel for wisdom and truth, and begin to step into this new role in order to bring about change.

Right here and now we have a job to do.  How are we going to step into our new roles as the true stewards for the resources and the wisdom on this planet?  We can no longer depend on the government or the church.  We must be willing to step up and take charge.  We must be willing to accept our place in creation.  We must become engaged with the process which is now already starting to formulate.

We must ask ourselves what our purpose is here on the planet.  We must ask ourselves how we can best serve.  We must ask ourselves what our original soul contract was.  Did we come here to be a user of the resources without an exchange  or repayment in some way?  Or did we come here with an agenda, and perhaps you might call it a Divine Agenda, to play our part, make a difference, and leave here having made a contribution, instead of having come here to just be a user.

We are the ones that we have been waiting for.   Now is the time to listen to our soul and step forward to fulfill our destiny!
